Alarm Frequency:
  • Basic - around one year- basic operations
  • Standard - around two years - basic operations + dedicated set of standard operations
  • Manufacturer - around 5 years - specific manufacturer operations
What maintenance needs to be done and what is the time required for experienced, trained, and qualified personnel
to perform this maintenance program?
  • The list of maintenance items and procedure reference number can be found in the Masterpact MTZ maintenance guide document DOCA0099EN
  • Basic and Standard end user "how to" maintenance procedures are located in document DOCA0103EN
  • Basic - 15 minutes for a fixed device, 20 minutes for a drawout device. Standard - 45 minutes for a fixed device, 1 hour for a drawout device.  Manufacturer - From 1.5 hours to 2 hours depending on the frame size, for a fixed device. From 2 hours to 3 hours depending on the frame size, for a drawout device.
How to declare the completed maintenance to complete the alarm and make the alarm and Service LED go out.
  • Use EcoStruxure Power Commission software (EPC)
  • Once connected, click the Device Check Up box, click the Maintenance tab, go to Last Maintenance Details box and click View History.
  • Edit the Date, Company in charge, maintenance operator name.
  • Enter password and save data
  • The Service LED will now go out.

How to enable/disable maintenance alarms:
  • Disabling maintenance alarms is not recommended unless you have a robust maintenance schedule that matches the alarm frequency.
  • Use EPC software
  • Once connected click the configure box, click the alarms tab, then click Maintenance on the left
  • Scroll down to the basic, standard or manufacturer alarm to enable/disable
