What causes an input phase loss PHF fault on the ATV12?

Issue:
Getting a input phase loss PHF fault on ATV12

Product Line:
Altivar Machine, ATV12

Environment:
All serial numbers


Cause:
• Drive incorrectly supplied or a fuse blown
• Failure of one phase
• 3-phase ATV12 used on a 1-phase line supply
• Unbalanced load
• This protection only operates with the drive on load

Resolution:

• Check the power connection and the fuses.
• Use a 3-phase line supply.
• Disable the fault by setting Input Phase loss detection IPL page 94 = nO.
• Check the motor connection and any isolating devices located between the drive and the motor (contactors, circuit breakers, etc.).
