Getting message "External Power supply is required" in the power supply budget of BMXCPS3020 .
The M340 DC power supplies do not supply any 24 VDC for External field devices or BMXCPS2010 or 3020 power supply has no inbuilt sensor DC supply 24 VDC to be fed sensors.
The warning is to ensure customer that he need to supply external power supply to power the I/O.
It is a warning because you have this anyway need a separate 24VDC power supply in the system and the system gives a kind of advice. It is also displayed neatly, the bar is orange in color and is in the legend "External power supply required".
