Can you program an M221 controller through the Modbus Serial Port?

The serial interface of a M221 controller is strictly for field communication protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU) and not to connect with Machine Expert Basic.
The communication with Machine Expert Basic is available only via the Ethernet or USB ports.
