Power Monitoring Expert (PME) License Return Failed

Issue:

When attempting to return a license, it returns the message "FAILED".

Resolution

First, follow the resolution found in this article: How to return PME 2021 license online for license configuration tool | Schneider Electric USA. Details below:

1. Open File Explorer and confirm show Hidden Items are checked:
2. ​​​​​Use the above screenshot to verify that the "ProgramData" folder is visible, then navigate to "C:\ProgramData\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\License"
3. Delete all the hidden files in this "License" folder

Once that has been completed, navigate to the License Configuration Tool and right click to on the application to Run as Administrator. There should be no license currently activated.
