Oil & gas plants often contain hazardous (Ex) areas classified as Zone 0, Zone 1, or Zone 2. EasyPact CVS MCCBs are not explosion-proof devices and do not carry ATEX/IECEx hazardous-area certification. Therefore, they should generally be installed: Inside a safe area electrical room, or Within a suitably certified enclosure/panel located according to the hazardous area classification requirements.
