What is Port Hardening in P3 relay?

The communication port of PowerLogic P3 protection relay can be disabled. Each logical port can be independently disabled. Port hardening configuration can be set from the local panel of PowerLogic P3 protection relay, from eSetup Easergy Pro, or from the web HMI, with the ENGINEER access right.

Below is the image attached of eSetup easergy Pro, where to locate port hardening.

Easergy Pro: Go to Communication → Protocol Configuration → Port Hardening. Select the checkbox next to the required port and apply the configuration to disable it.
