Varlogic controllers permanently monitor the reactive power of the installation and control the connection and disconnection of capacitor steps in order to obtain the targeted power factor.
A power factor controller is a feature that decreases the amount of reactive power generated by a computer as it energises the magnetic field by operating at right angles to real power. PFC is also used in other industries to reduce the reactive power produced by high bay lighting.
