Internal Error when trying to set IO module METSEPM89M0024 to 0-20 mA on PM8000, ION7400, ION9000
Issue
Unable to configure the Analog output of METSEPM89M0024 to 0-20mA. ION Setup will show "Internal Error".
Product
ION9000, PM8000, ION7400 with METSEPM89M0024 connected in one or more of the slots.
Cause
METSEPM89M0024 module requires V1.20.0 or greater to support option for 0-20 mA output. The firmware version of modules connected to meter can be found in the setup registers of the factory module. Below is example of IO module with V1.1.29 firmware version.
Resolution
Upgrade the firmware of the METSEPM89M0024 module. Refer to meter's user guide, search for "Loading option module firmware using ION Setup" or "Loading option module firmware using SFTP" for more information.
