My custom library does not show up on another computer using the software or when I use another version of libset for a project

Solution

To share you custom library with others and also on other version of libset, do the following.

First create an installable family in the Types Library Manager window

Select where the files are saved.

These are the files created

To install that library you need to use the "Types Library Update tool"

You need to specify the location of the FAMILY.DSC file. This is also where you specify in which libset version you wish to install this custom library. If you need it in multiple libset version you'll have to do process for each version.

It's done, you should now see the new library in your UNity Pro / Control Expert software.
