Before launching Control Expert Topology Manager (TM) on the client side , please perform the following sequence :
1- Close TM on the server side
2- Open Server Configuration
3- Modify the Listening IP address in the Listening Connections tab : Either select the ethernet card with which you are communication with the client PC or type 0.0.0.0 to listen to all ethernet cards.
4- Apply and close the tool.
5- Open TM on the client side and open User Preferences ;
6- Modify the Networkds And Servers tab, and modify the Control expert Server Address with the IP :
Here the IP address of my server is 192.168.189.1, the port to use is 19950.
7- Close and relaunch TM on the client side, and now you should be able to connect to the server.
