How to open IEDCT project when M580 projected is upload ?

Resolution:

Follow these steps to restore the project file ( User needs to provide the original SCD file, because BMENOP doesn’t save SCD but the exi file)

1. Open the folder “C:\UnityProTemp\USERxx\ControlExpert” in PC:

2.Upload application from Control Expert

3.Find the associated application files on PC, you can see there’re 3 files uploaded, XY.bin, XY_2.bin and XY_iopl.xml(XY means module name in IEDCT)

4.Unzip XY_2.bin into a folder, then there’re 3 files, IEDCT.exi, IEDCT_HISTORY.INI and IEDCT_IOMAP.xml

5. Unzip XY_2.bin into a folder and rename XY.bin to IEDCT.ip

6.Copy the project SCD to this folder and rename to IEDCT.scd

7.Zip all these 5 files to XY.prj, please be noted don’t zip the up-layer folder

8.Switch to Control Expert and open IEDCT, it will prompt a window says that failed to load project file

9.     Click OK button, and chose ‘Open Project’, then select and open the above zipped XY.prj

10.Now the uploaded project can be opened
