Issue
"inf" is displayed instead of a numeric value, either on the front display or on the meter's respective vista diagram.
Product Line
PM8000 Power Meters
Cause
The reason for the "inf" value is due to an internal fault. The "inf" means the value is infinite. This happens when the meter incorrectly calculates the value.
Resolution
The first step would be to verify that the meter is on the latest firmware. You can check out the latest firmware for the PM8000 here. If the meter is not up to date with the current released firmware, the meter's firmware should be upgraded. If the firmware update had no effect on the "inf" value, then the meter must be replaced as the meter's internal fault is unfixable.
