Issue:
When launching the Vijeo Designer 6.2, a message asking for Administrator Rights is always displayed and the application does not start.
Product Line:
Vijeo Designer 6.2
Resolution:
Go to the following directory:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Schneider Electric\Vijeo Designer 6.2
Next, right-click on the Vijeo Designer 6.2 shortcut and select "Properties":
In the window that opens, under the "Shortcut" tab, press the "Advanced" button:
In the advanced properties window, check that the "Run as Administrator" option is unchecked.
If not, uncheck and apply the change.
Test the shortcut.
If you are using a shortcut on your desktop, do the same check.
If the Vijeo Designer application starts and then a message appears asking for Administrator Rights, then it is likely that there are some cyber security rules in place and Vijeo Designer is not authorized.
In this case, the IT team of your organization will have to authorize all .exe files located under the following directory (including subdirectories):
C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Vijeo-Designer 6.2
