SCADAPack x70 USB-C Support
The first hardware versions of the 47x line of SCADAPacks do not support USB-C to USB-C for local programming. The physical hardware was updated in 2023 and SCADAPacks with Hardware Version 7.00 or later support USB-C to USB-C connections.
If you have earlier hardware versions you can still use the USB-C port on the SCADAPack, but you must use a USB-A to USB-C cable from the PC.
The hardware version of your SCADAPack can be found in the device information file, that can be read from the SCADAPack. While online, right-click the SCADAPack device configuration DTM and navigate Additional Functions -> Get Device Information.
When opened with a text editor such as Notepad, the information is contained in the VER section. The SCADAPack MUST be Hardware 7.00 or later to use a USB-C to USB-C cable
