Until EcoStruxure Control Expert Version 16.0, the Visual Redistributable packages were located in the installation ISO file, within the "prerequisite" folder.
However, starting with CE 16.0, these packages are no longer accessible as the ISO is now encrypted. Please refer to the attached file for the packages compatible with CE 16.0, including all installed HotFixes.
Please note that some Windows Updates may alter these packages, making them incompatible with Control Expert. This can result in issues such as the "stmsdk.dll" error when opening a project or an "unknown issue" during a project build.
To potentially resolve this issue, uninstall the Visual C++ Redistributable packages from your PC using the Control Panel, then reinstall the packages included in the attached files.
