Smart UPS Li-Ion, Smart UPS Ultra 1Kva-5Kva and Smart UPS Modular Ultra:
Battery State of Health (SoH) can be used to determine which battery module requires replacement. It is not necessary to replace another battery module that is healthy solely because another battery module requires replacement.
Smart UPS Ultra 10Kva:
Lithium-Ion battery modules can have an age difference of up to3 years based on internal testing and State of Health (SoH) considerations. If a module faults or reaches end of life, only the affected module needs to be replaced, provided the age difference between modules does not exceed 3 years. If it does, the older modules should also be replaced.
NOTE: A healthy battery module does not need to be replaced solely because another battery module is being replaced.
