Cannot see any PLC data in the 'PLC Program Viewer' web page of a '140NOE77111' Factorycast module.

Resolution
The PLC data in the 'PLC Program Viewer' web page does not get displayed on an '140NOE77111' Factorycast module that does not have a 'WebDesigner' application.

The reason that is does not get displayed is because the 'PLC Program Viewer' option in Unity is only applicable to the 'BMXNOE0110' (Exec firmware version 5.0 as a minimum required). In order to view the PLC data in the 'PLC Program Viewer' web page of an '140NOE77111', the Unity application signature must be synchronized with the Web Designer application.

To synchronize the Unity application signature with the Web Designer application:

  • Export the Unity application to an .'xef' file.
  • Open the Web Designer application.
  • Open the Devices tab.
  • Click on the 'PLC Program' tab.
  • Click on 'Program' in the 'Logical view' window to select it.
  • Click on Import.
  • Select the Unity .xef file.
  • Click on Open.
  • Browse for the Unity '.stu' file.
  • Click on Import.

    Note: The synchronization must be performed again if there is a logic change in the Unity application within the PLC.
