Issue:
What is the meaning of "The PLC returned error code 02H" on the Magelis HMI running Vijeo Designer Runtime?
Product Line:
Vijeo Designer
Resolution:
The 02H error means your Vijeo Designer program is requesting for data from a non-existent register on your PLC. To determine which variable in your Vijeo Designer application is invalid, you can look through your Vijeo Designer variables and check the validity of your external addresses. Alternatively, there is a Variables Test you can run on the actual HMI. You will need to access the configuration menu of the HMI by tapping the Top Left of the screen (release with in 0.5 seconds) and Bottom Right. In the configuration screen, goto the Diagnostics Tab and press Variables. To start the test, press the Start Test button. The resulting list in the table will inform you of the exact variable with an invalid address. NOTE: if your application has a large number of variables, this test will take a longer amount of time to complete.
