Cause
Many different reasons could cause an ION service to not exist. If the issue is during the installation process it is recommended to contact technical support for assistance.
Resolution 1:
Any of the ION services can be registered from the command line by running:
"-Service"
and unregistered with:
"-UnregServer"
The EXE files are located in \system\bin folder.
Below is an example of registering the OPC service.
Below is a list of the executables associated with each ION service. Not all services are available in each version of the software:

Resolution 2:
If the first process does not work and/or throws an error, then a different command can be used. Windows has a built-in command named "sc.exe delete". The format for using this is command is: sc.exe delete <ServiceShortName>
To find the short name of each service Power Monitoring Expert uses go to Registry Editor (you can go to Windows > Run > regedit.exe) and to the path Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\[Product Number associated with version].
You can then press the carrot/arrow beside the product number to expand the options below and the carrot/arrow beside ServiceMetadata to expand the folders within that one. This will provide the short name for all the Power Monitoring Expert services. See the screenshot below:
To recover these services that have been deleted, a reconfigure of the Power Monitoring Expert software can be done from the installer Window.
