Power Monitoring Expert (PME) Alarm Annunciator Update rate

User would like to change interval for the Alarm banner update on the Web applications page of Power Monitoring Expert (PME)

Resolution
*Warning: Irreparable database damage can occur. This procedure should only be performed by users familiar with SQL Server Management Studio. Databases should be backed up prior to performing this procedure.*

1) Launch SQL Server Management Studio and connect to the instance where PME is running
2) Under Databases ->ApplicationModules -> Views, right click on [Configuration].[ConfigurationSettings] and select Edit top 200 rows

3) Look for the [Key] 'AlarmStatusUpdateIntervalSeconds' and change the value from 5 seconds to the desired update rate.

Note: reducing the interval below 5 seconds is not recommended and can lead to system performance issues.
