Why does adding a detuned reactor to a capacitor in series increases the voltage on the capacitor's terminals?
The attached document (Voltage on terminals of Capacitor.pdf) mathematically explains the reason for increasing the voltage on the terminals of the capacitor when the capacitor is being placed in series with detuned reactors.
