How can the Advantys STBNIC2212 V3 be replaced with a V4 module in a CE application?
- Open the DTM in the CE application.
- Click on Start Advantys to start tthe Advantys Configuration software and link it with the DTM..
- Right click on the STBNIC2212.
- Select 'Replace NIM'.
- Replace the STBNIC2212 V3 with the V4 module.
- Save the changes.
- Build the Advantys application.
- Save the changes.
- Set the rotary switches on the V4 module to the same position that was on the V3 module.
- Power cycle theSTBNIC2212.
- If the rotary switch is set to the 'Stored' position: (See below)
- Open the web page for the STBNIC2212.
- Assign the same IP address and
- Leave the Device name blank in the web pages for the to the new STBNIC2212 .
- Power Cycle the STBNICC2212.
- Ensure that the Advantys island is in a ready state..
- Go back to CE.
- Apply the changes to the DTM.
- Rebuild.
- Save the changes.
- Connect to the M580 PLC.
- Transfer the CE application to the PLC.
- Connect to the STBNIC2212.
