F02 or F04 Error Code When Turning on Back-UPS

Issue:

If the battery in the Back-UPS has not been correctly connected to the UPS, when turning on the Back-UPS, the unit may display an F02 or F04 error code on the display.

Solution:

  1. Ensure the battery connectors in the Back-UPS are firmly connected to the battery and try turning on the Back-UPS again.
  2. If the UPS is still showing an F02 or F04 error code, turn off the UPS and unplug it from the wall socket.
  3. With the UPS power cord removed from the wall, try turning on the Back-UPS again.
  4. If the Back-UPS is still displaying the error code, contact customer support.

* Ensure you have the following information readily available, prior to contacting customer support.

    1. UPS Model Number
    2. UPS Serial Number
    3. A short Video showing the display of the UPS, while the Back-UPS is being turned on.
