BMXART0814/0414 modules have the interface to enable/disable the broken wire detection function for thermocouple or thermoprobe signals as below .

User is able to monitor the broken wire through channel and module Error lights at mv range.  Module variables listed below could be used to indicate wire broken status in PLC application .

I/O data type : Device DDT

When the channel selected to +/- mV , CH_HEALTH in Device DDT will report error in case of broken wire.

I/O data type : Topological

Variables CH_ERROR, CH_FLT, SENSOR_FLT in IODDT could indicate the broken wire error and function block READ_STS could be implemented to read above exact channel status.
