    Join Schneider Electric in congratulating some of the top interior designers from around the world. Contest winners earned an all-expense paid trip to the prestigious Salone Internazionale del Mobile design exhibition or a promotional video of their design.

Below are the winners of our interior design contest. Entrants from Australia, Brazil, China, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia and Spain were invited to share their favorite projects from 2018 that feature Schneider Electric products. First place winners received an all-expense paid trip for two to Milan, Italy to attend the prestigious Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2019. Second place winners earned a promotional video of their submission and designs. Check back later in 2019 for information on this year’s contest.

Interior designer – Michael Hogg

To amplify Brisbane’s subtropical setting, a calm atmosphere was created using a restrained pallet, nuanced to reflect light and temper glare. Clipsal Saturn fittings were used in the kitchen.

The Clipsal Iconic range was utilized for outlets, data ports and light switches in a loading bay expansion and office space build-out. This temporary office space was designed to be easily dismantled.

Brazil - First place

Interior designer – Erica Gonçalves

Orion graphite switches and sockets compliment Goncalves’ contemporary use of white marble, black metal furniture frames and cement walls and floor.

Graphite colored switches, sockets and RJ45 modules from the Orion line were used on walls and table in this meeting room at this large coworking facility.

The goal in designing this space was to use simple black and whites in numerous small and large classrooms. The AvatarOn line of customizable switches enhances this arts-friendly space.

    Located in Guadalajara, this 84-apartment renovation used Orion devices in the bedroom, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, tv room and laundry.

Saturn Zen in matte black was chosen to complement the masculine concrete, steel and glass design in the kitchen, cigar lounge, bedrooms and staircase of this cliff-top new build in Auckland.

This clean, contemporary renovation project on the outskirts of Auckland City found a perfect fit in the Zen Saturn range of switches, including pictogram buttons and illuminated dots.

Adhering to the Baroque design style, this apartment was furnished with luxury furniture, fixtures and accents, finishing with a wide use of Merten and Sedna switches and faceplates.

This residential renovation project chose Odace sockets, switches and thermostats and utilizes a cheerful pastel color scheme to brighten the living space of a young, growing family.

Utilizing the Unica and D-Life range of products, connected using KNX home automation, all Villa Margilou’s rooms have a special view and lighting, inspired by the surrounding mountains, sea and golf course.

Interior designer – Eduardo Oria Sotés

Home automation, utilizing KNX and the D-Life range, played a fundamental role in the simple and elegant design of this detached villa, built to face south-southeast to maximize natural light.
