Use of 2 scripts driver on XBTGT2000
Goals and Symptoms
Does the XBTGT2000 allow 2 scripts driver on the COM1 (DB9) and on the COM2 (RJ45)
Causes and Fixes
The XBTGT2000 Series and higher have two communication ports:
- COM1 (DB9 connector).
- COM2 (RJ45 connector).
Both ports allow the target to communicate with a PLC. However, only the COM1 port (DB9) allows the target to communicate with a serial device using the script driver. The RJ45 connector (the COM2 port) doesn't support this script driver.
Unfortunately, this means that it is impossible to connect 2 devices to an XBTGT using two script drivers.
