Can a P765CA0A communications card for the ION 7550 / 7650 meter be used in an older ION 7500 / 7600?
Resolution:
The P765CA0A is backward compatible and will work on legacy ION 7500 / 7600 meters. There is a backup battery soldered to the board on the communications card, however only the ION 7550 / 7650 meters can utilize this additional backup battery.
