Are there any restriction to the cabling of BMENOC?
When the Ethernet backplane port of BMENOC is enabled, the NOC is directly connected to the CPU. The backplane port is not protected by RSTP, only ports 2 and 3 are. Connecting the NOC and the CPU via an external cable may create an unmanaged network loop that may impact network communications.
When the BMENOC's Ethernet backplane port is enabled, do not make any connections between the NOC and the CPU via an external Ethernet cable.
