How can I check that the input rectifiers are okay on an ATV212 or ATV21 drive?

Issue:
Checking to see if the input rectifiers are okay on an ATV212 or ATV21 drive

Product Line:
Altivar ATV212

Environment:
All models and serial numbers.

Cause:
No power.

Resolution:
Static Diode Test Procedure ATV212:
The following tests are to be performed with NO power to the drive.
Select diode mode on the meter.
1. To test the diodes on the positive DC bus
a. Place the black lead of meter on PA+ and the Red lead on L1.  The meter should read about 0.3V
b. Reverse the meter leads so the black is on L1 and the red is on PA+.  The meter should read OL
c. Repeat this on L2 and L3
2. To test the diodes on the negative DC bus
a. Place the black lead of the meter on PC- and the red lead on L1.  The meter should read OL
b. Reverse the meter leads so the black is on L1 and the red is on PC-.  The meter should read .3V
c. Repeat this on L2 and L3

Diodes can fail in either shorted or open condition.
