There is a strange file in my logged data folder stating files have been renamed

Resolution:
The Vijeo Designer Data Logging System has a mechanism to detect when the system time or date is set backwards in time (with the exception to DST). When this occurs, the existing data logging file (ex. 020415.dat) will be renamed to have _OLD appended to its file name (ex. 020415_OLD.dat).
The reason for this is so that the previously logged data is backed up somewhere and is not overwritten when the "new" time reaches the so called "future" time that exists in the old file. Here is an example of what is inside the log file. Notice the now timestamp vs the file time stamp. It indicates that the file was created at a date in the future in respect to the current date. This medans the date or time was moved backwards manually.
