Can the BME XBP **00 Ethernet backplane be used as an extension rack in the M580 architecture?
Yes, you can use this type of backplane as an expansion rack but you will not be able to use
the ethernet based IO modules such as HART and SCAIME. It's for that reason why using the
BMX XBPxx00 would be a better choice.
