Information on setting up the Global Data service on an Unity Momentum 171CBU98091 PLC is available in the Unity Momentum User manual. (Pages 119 to 122 explain the Global Data service setup.)
The basic steps to perform in your program for the Global Data service is to assign a Global Data multicast IP address/Group Name in the Network properties section and configure the global variables properties.
For your Global Data variable you need to select either to PUB (publish) or SUB (subscribe), assigned a Group Name (setup in the network properties section) and enter a unique ID number. (see page 122). The Global Data protocol is a Schneider Electric proprietary capability.
