The primary purpose of a revenue meter is to deliver measurements within industry-accepted accuracy limits over a defined operating range and to ensure protection against unauthorized alteration of these values. Compliance is governed by international standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI) and utility regulations.

PM8000 meters are certified for revenue metering and meet these requirements.

Components of Revenue Metering Security in PM8000:

• Mechanical anti-tamper seals on the meter enclosure.
• Password-based security for operations such as Peak Demand reset.
• Hardware-based lock that prevents modification of revenue quantities once the meter is sealed.
