What is the speed limitation and bandwidth for ethernet backplane

Issue

The speed limitation for X-BUS backplane is 12Mbps and customer would like to know the speed limitation & bandwidth for Ethernet backplane.

Resolution

Ethernet backplane is 100Mbps full duplex. The bandwidth for each slot is as following:

Ingress rate limiting must be set to 0.1 Mbps for broadcast traffic.
Ingress rate limiting must be set to 1 Mbps for all other traffic.
Port egress rate limiting must not be set.
