EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS [2019]:Topology Changes does not update the Control Project
Question
Why user is not able to update the Control Project from Topology Explorer?
1. Issue
In EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS 2019, Topology Explorer user can view and edit the Control Project parameters like IP Address, Sub mask Address etc. But the same when edited it not update the Control project that is defined inside Control Expert Window.
2. Product Line
This document is applicable for EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS 2019 only.
3. Resolution
In a normal scenario in Topology explorer user can view the Control Project Parameters like IP Address, Sub Mask address etc.
But the same is for only view only mode.
In EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS 2019 user can edit the parameters but the same will not be reflected inside the Control Project.
So even though it is in editable mode, user should not change the same.
Any parameter changes should be applied inside the Control Expert Window.
