What is Remote wear Diagnosis (RWD) module ?

Remote wear Diagnosis (RWD) module is an add on optional accessory which can be installed and used in advanced type contactors for remote signalling. The control module continuously monitors the contactor operation & opening speed and measures the main power contact wear. When the main contacts reach 85% of its electrical durability, the control module provides signal through RWD (1NO or 1NC) change-over contacts for remote signalling.
