Yes, we can use either SELV or PELV power supplies for using with BMSDI1602 or BMXSDO0802 Safety IO modules on M580 safety range.
The requirement which is behind the use of these power supplies for safety IOs modules is that these power supplies are an Extra-Low-Voltage system (i.e. normally not exceeding 50 VAC). Both PELV/SELV satisfy this requirement (both are ELV). The difference between both is that PELV is not electrically separated from earth (this is the case for SELV). So SELV has quite higher requirements than PELV and can be used instead of PELV.
