What can cause [Internal Error 22] InFM?

Cause:

An error on the embedded Ethernet card has been detected.

Damaged embedded ethernet card

Instability of the 24Vdc supply

Resolution:

This is due to Ethernet crash.

Also, if ATV340 is supplied only to external 24V and 24V used is not stable, the drive may trip on INFM.

Remedies:

Verify the connection on the Ethernet port.

Verify the 24Vdc supply stability.

INFM can be mitigated by:

Using separate, good quality external 24V dc power supply, exclusively dedicated for control blocks (no other devices supplied from it).

Improve EMC for 24V dc wiring (shielding, proper distance from power cables).

Important to check (drive grounding, Eth cables shielding/grounding, other EMC rules).

Update drive firmware if it is older.

This detected error requires a power reset.
