Somove license activation (Version 2.8 and above)

To activate Somove V2.8 and above, please follow these instructions.

1. Open this website: https://www.se.com/us/en/shop/software/process-license and click Download License File:

2. Afterwards, you will be directed to log in to mySchneider. If you have create an account, enter your email, click continue and enter your password then click Login.

3. Once logged in, this page will appear next. Select the appropriate license file to use and download if you are only looking for a specific software to download by clicking the individual hyperlinks below. For Somove, click Somove-2.X License File.zip to download the files. After download, extract the files.

4.  Once download and extracting the files are done, the folder should contain the following. Click the folder to open the contents. After that, you should see the license file:

5. Open the folder. Copy the file and place the “.lic” file (license file only not the whole folder) in the following folder: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Schneider Electric Shared\LicenseFiles".

When you restart the Somove software, the license will be automatically activated, allowing you to continue using the software. For Somove, if License state indicates Registered, it means the software is activated.
