What is the "Green Mode" on Smart UPS (SMT, SMC) (Line Interactive)

The Green Mode icon will be illuminated when the UPS is operating at the most efficient level by bypassing unused AVR components while acceptable utility voltage is present.  The UPS will enter and exit Green mode automatically and will not compromise power protection.

Moreover, Always provides surge and noise filtering. No transfer time penalty in green mode. Units achieve efficiencies of >97%.
