What is the maximum cable length of RJ45 (RS485) for ComX 200/210/510 ?
The cable length of RJ45 (RS485) is not dependent on the Com'X. It is as per the modbus protocol standard.
The maximum Cable length depends on the baud rate, the cable
(Gauge, Capacitance or Characteristic Impedance, twisted pair shield cable), the number of loads on the daisy chain, and the network configuration (2-wire or 4-wire).
For a maximum 9600 Baud Rate and AWG26 (or wider) gauge, the maximum length is 1000m.
