Issue:
How do you enable 'catch on the fly' on an ATV320
Product line:
ATV320, ATV32
Cause:
Needs to help the Drive to run while the motor is still spinning after a restart.
Resolution:
On the ATV320 press ENT (green, frontal dial) and go go to CONF > FULL > FLT- > FLr-, press ENT again:
FLr [Catch on the fly] = Set to Yes
On the ATV32 press ENT (Gray Fontal dial) and go to CONF > FULL > FUN- > FLT- > FLr-, press ENT again:
FLr [Catch on the fly] = Set to Yes
This function is used to enable a smooth restart if the run command is maintained after the following events:
- Loss of supply mains or disconnection.
- Clearance of current detected fault or automatic restart.
- Freewheel stop.
The speed given by the drive resumes from the estimated speed of the motor at the time of the restart, then follows the ramp to
the reference speed.
Note: This function requires 2-wire level control.
