This hotfix fixes 2 different issues Description of issue 1 or behavior (before installation of ControlExpert_V141_HF0586008R) On M580 Safety controllers, After • an upload from controller • Or “open STA” followed by: 1. a modification (*) in the data editor 2. and a build change then all initial values of %KWi are lost (reset to 0). (*) note: any modification, on any variable, even if not a %KWi. Description of issue 2 or behavior (before installation of ControlExpert_V141_HF0586008R). For any controller supporting Program units, After steps: 1. Upload of an application without EFB instance. 2. Addition of a new EFB instance in a Program Unit 3. Addition of a new EFB instance in the global scope of the application (in the process scope for M580S). 4. Build change. 5. Connect to PLC. 6. Transfer project to PLC. 7. Modify the Program Unit EFB instance. Then, EFB instance of the global scope doesn’t execute correctly. New behavior after installation of ControlExpert_V141_HF0586008R. Issue 1: After the steps above, %KWi variables keep their initial value. Issue 2: After the steps above, the FB instance will execute correctly. What to do after installation of ControlExpert_V141_HF0586008R Issue1 - If the %KWi initial values are still visible in the Data Editor, then “Rebuild All” is enough. If the %KWi initial values are not visible in the Data Editor, then it’s not possible to retrieve the initial values of %KWi that have been lost. Initial values must be set again by the user.
