Issue:
There's not much space behind the rails in a NetShelter CX, and some U-spaces near the fans have no room.
Product Line:
NetShelter CX
Environment:
All versions and serial ranges.
Cause:
A customer wants to install the cable management arm into a NetShelter CX cabinet.
Resolution:
The space behind the rear mounting rails in the NetShelter CX cabinets should be left open as much as possible to allow proper airflow. Cable management arms can be used but must be confined to specific U-spaces so they don’t interfere with the fan modules.
Also, if the cable entry channel is being used care should be taken when installing AR8129 in the lower U-spaces.
• In the AR4018A or AR4018IA the AR8129 can only be mounted in U-spaces 1 through 7, and 12 through 18.
• In the AR4024A or 4024IA the AR8129 can only be mounted in U-spaces 1 through 6, and 12 through 20.
• In the AR4038A and AR4038IA the AR8129 can only be mounted into U-spaces 1 through 6, 12 through 20, 25 through 32 and 37 & 38.
