Với biến tần đang được cấp điện và ở trạng thái RDY (không chạy lệnh ở hiện tại), nhấn Escape cho đến khi bạn thoát ra menu chính với Drive Menu được highlight.
Nhấn Enter ở Drive menu và kéo xuống mục 1.4, Motor Control.
Nhấn Enter và trong menu xổ xuống, Motor Control Type, nhấn Enter.
Có một vài lựa chọn sẵn có, biến tần dòng ATV71 có nhiều lựa chọn hơn dòng ATV61 bởi vì nó có thể vận hành điều khiển vòng kín nếu có một encoder được sử dụng.
