Can a roof fan be added to a NetShelter cabinet and only be turned on during a power outage?
Issue:
It needs to be determined if a roof fan can be set to turn on only when the power is out.

Product Line:
NetShelter, NetBotz, Rack Cooling

Environment:
AR3100, AR3105, AR3107, AR3150, AR3155, AR3157, ACF501, ACF502, ACF503, ACF504, ACF505, NBRK0250

Cause:
A customer wants to use a roof fan as backup cooling.

Resolution:
A roof fan can be set to turn on if the power is out when the relay output of a UPS is monitored by dry contacts on a NetBotz 250.
The NetBotz 250 can be configured to turn on/off its outlet based on any threshold (like a dry contact).
The NetBotz 250 has to be plugged into a UPS.
The output of the NMC must be set to trigger the output relay.
