Issue

When replacing the system fan, I have difficulty removing the fan cover / grill from the fan itself once it is removed from the system.

Cause

The fan cover will occasionally stick to the system fan due to tight tolerances.


Resolution

The cover is not permanently attached to the fan and can be removed by gently prying them apart.  Please see the attached recording and pictures.

The first picture shows the position of the fan being inserted into the cover. The second picture shows the fan cover attached to the fan. The third picture shows the whole assembly being inserted into the Symmetra. Note the two screw holes on the side of the fan assembly. The fourth picture shows the whole fan assembly in the Symmetra frame.
