ASCO Power Technologies has unveiled two new versions of its award-winning SourcePacT solution to meet a broader set of voltage applications – now offering a family of solutions that streamline grid isolation for inverter-supplied power projects.
The first single-device Source Isolation Switch, SourcePacT™ was originally rated for 600 Amps at 277 volts. SourcePacT is now available in three new models with 277 volt/ 800 AMP, 480 volt/ 600 AMP, and 480 volt/800 AMP ratings.
SourcePacT is the only purpose-built, UL-listed, single-device grid isolation solution for inverter-supplied emergency power. SourcePacT combines control and disconnect functions to enable inverter-based power sources to provide power to loads during utility outages.
Simplifying BESS integration into critical power systems, it responds to utility outages by disconnecting from the grid and signaling the inverter to switch to grid-forming mode. When power is restored, it reconnects and resumes grid-following operation.
SourcePacT has transformed the industry by eliminating the need for a custom and time-consuming grid isolation solution at each facility. With new versions available, customers can now scale deployments and maximize the benefits of Distributed Energy Resources.
ASCO’s three new SourcePacT models are available now. Contact a local ASCO representative to learn more.
