Total Power Off Procedure for Smart-UPS Modular Ultra 5-20kW
Issue:
How to perform a total power off or complete shutdown of the Smart-UPS Modular Ultra.

Cause:
Need to safely power off the UPS for maintenance, relocation, or other operational reasons.
Resolution:
The SYSTEM ENABLE switch controls the internal power for all the modules (intelligence, power, and battery). Setting the switch to STANDBY disables the power. Setting the switch to ON allows the modules to turn ON.
To completely power down the system:
- Set SYSTEM ENABLE switch to STANDBY.
- Set Mains/Branch circuit breaker to OFF.
- Disconnect internal battery modules.
- Disconnect external battery frames (if installed).
- Disconnect maintenance bypass source (if provided).
